4D HIFU uses focused ultrasound far beneath the top skin layer to promote the body’s own collagen production, for skin tightening and lifting. It is a great alternative to surgery as it can reach the muscle level only surgery could. Moisturises and creams cannot penetrate to the deeper levels that HIFU can, especially down to the muscle level which will help lift and tighten. It is a relative painless procedure requiring no surgery or anaesthetic.
Upto a 20% difference can be seen straight after the treatment with full results continuing up to 12 weeks as the body reproduces its own natural producing collagen. Results can last up to 3 years, most will only require one treatment but a top up treatment can be done in 4 months time.
How is the Treatment Performed?
- After client consultation, we will do a cleanse then map out the treatment areas on your face or body.
- An ultrasound gel is applied to the area
- The hand piece is pressed up against the skin with the start button activated.
- A beeping sound will be heard as the focused ultrasound is administered.
- A slight tingling feeling maybe felt and we can adjust the energy levels to ensure your comfort.
- Once the shots are completed the hand piece is moved to the adjacent skin area.
- Once all the skin area is treated the gel will be removed, skin maybe a little red, photos taken then you can return to normal activities
